Archive post: December 2009, Kansas City/St. Louis

It's the Kansas City Rep (musical) versus the St Louis Rep (play) with their dueling productions of A Christmas Story. And the winner is...the KC Rep for presenting a much more imaginative staging of the classic movie. That said, A Christmas Story doesn't exactly cry out for musicalization, but a kick line of illuminated leg lamps and Flik singing a song called "I' 'uck" with his tongue stuck to that pole are pretty damn funny!
