The new performance space for New World Symphony designed by Frank Gehry continues to impress. A year after I scored a last minute ticket to the grand opening, I was handed a ticket for free outside the sold out Pulse show, a new late night program combining DJ's with the orchestra. With the main seating section pushed out of site, the venue was turned into one huge nightclub with bars set up throughout. While the five video screens could have been used to better effect, the whole experience was magical. Bravo to NWS for finding new ways to pull in an audience!
